Responsibilities
- Experience arranging for coverage for all open shifts on the schedules at all requested facilities, and developing plans for cross training and crosscoverage
- Intimate understanding of schedules and staffing needs at specialty practice facilities, and the ability to provide guidance when necessary
- Experience assisting in minimizing locum expenses and ensuring the most cost-effective staffing solution is utilized at all times
- Experience working with Clinical Leaders and Client Services to cover physician vacancies and vacations, and address all other scheduling needs as necessary
- Experience answering phones and acting as the intake desk for Provider issues; answering Provider requests and triaging issues to appropriate parties
- Able to handle multiple methods of communication with Providers, from texting and phone to in person
- Experience handling escalated issues as requested based on facility demands
- Experience maintaining documentation pertaining to Physician and/or facility staffing requests and documenting all changes as appropriate
- Experience working with Physicians and hospital personnel regarding scheduling changes and/or issues
- Experience communicating directly with physicians on a daily basis to confirm work schedules and shift changes, and notifying all appropriate parties of required changes as appropriate
- One or more years of experience maintaining physician agendas &/or medical staffing coverage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and team members
- With the partial ability to work from home.
- Some flexibility will be needed; may have an occasional need for earlier or later shifts when assigned
- MS Office Suite, in particular Excel and Word
- QGenda (scheduling) software experience would be a major plus
- Lawson, Shift Maker software experience preferred
