Job Description
- Has to have strong architectural skills as well as technical skills
- Has experience for designing/building a solution from end to end (don’t want just a theorist)
- Is a resource that understands the core aspects of each layer of platforms (UI, middleware, database, infra, integration, etc)
- UI technology experience including things such as Node/Angular.js
- API / services / microservices knowledge (Disney preference would be for technology such as REST, Spring, Hibernate, etc)
- Understands architectures/factors/impacts of having a hybrid environment some apps in Cloud and some on-premise
- How they would architect for performance, redundancy, etc.
- Experience with latest technology stack
- Database knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL)
- Fair knowledge on infrastructure, performance engineering aspects, Cache mechanisms etc.
- Thorough knowledge on build/deployment tools, CICD
- Knowledge on Testing and quality tools
- Database knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL)
- Preference for resource that knows Disney
- Would have experience is assessing COTS solutions as well
- Can build POC if needed and show that it works,has coding experience and can be hands on to help delivery teams as needed
- Will independently coordinate with multiple teams and systems to help shape the design and estimates of solution option(s)
- Thinks outside of the box
- Able to sell the pros/cons of the solutions to all stakeholders
- Self-directed
