Job Description

• Exar is seeking a highly motivated individual to design, develop, debug and modify embedded firmware for various MCU platforms to support client products.
• In addition, they will also develop Android software drivers and applications.
• In this role, you will:Collaborate with a team to develop and test firmware for MCU-based applications using client Products.
• Develop software and applications to test firmware on the Android OS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems in embedded real-time systems.
• Manage and track development status of key deliverables to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Provide on-site support to key customers.
• Write comprehensive engineering documentation.

Required Skills

• Position requires knowledge and exposure to hardware design C/C++, Assembly, Java, Android Excellent written and oral communication skills Willingness to travel up to 25%

Required Experience Minimum

Qualifications

• BS EE/CS or Equivalent 5+ years software engineering experience
