- Contract to HireEffectively document programs and programming changes by creating technical specifications documents, hand-off sheet and test plan.
- Ensure the effective implementation of IT programs by submitting completed tasks to AQ for testingRemain involved to assist with production implementation and any further changes that may be necessary.Ensure the quality of IT programs by creating a test plan and following a step-by-step process to test new software.Required
- 5 - 7 years related work experience5 years experience in AS/400, COBOL, CL and SQLPreferred experience in RPG, Queries, DB2 and MQ Series.
- Skills and Abilities:Strong written and oral communication skills; the abilities to work independently and as a member of a teamThe ability to analyze issues and solve problems; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Office Equipment and Software: Computers, telephones, AS/400, COBOL, CL, RPG, SQL, Queries, DB2
