Role: Hybris Architect Location: San Antonio,TX Qualifications Hybris Works with DevOps Engineers, private cloud, and public cloud teams to build out automation and scaling Individual contributor (this is a hands-on role) who is, or desires to become a leader Able to architect small, medium, large, and multi-region solutions on dedicated, private cloud (eg. VMWare, OpenStack, Hyper-V) and public clouds Self-starter Experience with CI/CD (will be paired with DevOps Engineers but must bring the deep application expertise) Experience scaling Hybris Out of the box thinker (ie what is the best solution, not what is conventional) Ability to train Solution Engineers Ability to help engineers troubleshoot code-level problems, as it relates to performance and scalability Web programming and scripting ability Load testing familiarity to ensure optimal architecture (will have access to QE\\\'s for tactical work) Interfaces with Rackspace University to create training curriculum Ensures completeness and compatibility of the technical architecture to provide optimal performance Reviews and approves technical documentation Mentors engineers and demonstrates the ability to own large subsystems with a high degree of accountability Experience with high-availability, high-performance, web technologies 3+ years deep hands-on experience with Hybris Preferred: Strong in front of technical executives (able to present and discuss architecture for large solutions, including white boarding)
