The BMT Coordinator is responsible for performing complex assessments, plan patient care, provide direct care, and educates and orient patients, families and staff.

In this position you will:

• Be responsible for assessment of needs, education, and coordination of the care of BMT and certain Blood Cancer patients and their families required throughout the disease process
• Be responsible for communicating all aspects of the plan of care with patients, families, and other members of the Transplant Team, other health care providers, and payors

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or must actively pursue and attain a BSN within six years of hire
• Current Washington State Registered Nursing License
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of three years current oncology nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• MSN degree
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification
• Hematology / Stem Cell Transplantation experience strongly preferred
