Summary:

The company is looking for a talented professional to join their team as an Application/SQL Developer for the Planning Systems team.  The right candidate will be responsible for assisting with development, implementation and modeling of ETL & SQL for demand planning and supply planning systems. This person will become an expert in demand planning and supply planning processes at UA and will enable world class planning through developing new solutions.  The role will be expected to provide analytical results and insights based on simulating and testing to achieve optimal system performance that maximizes uptime while accounting for growth. 

Essential Duties:

•             Support the development, testing, and implementation of interfaces for planning systems, and other planning systems projects

•             Lead in process documentation and offer potential improvements based on analytical results

•             Development of reporting architecture to support user facing tools

•             Support development of alerting, batch processes, and job performance monitoring within all Logility applications

•             Provide feedback progress with implementation of solutions

 

Qualifications:

•             5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience

•             Experience with SAP / BW / Business Objects preferred

•             Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Information Science, or related field

•             Expert understanding of SQL performance best practices

•             ETL experience with SSIS, SAP Business Objects Data Services, or similar tool

•             Object oriented programming experience

•             Ability to perform root cause identification and develop resolutions

•             Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

•             Work closely with application development, database, server and storage groups to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

•             Ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and relationships while operating in a rapidly changing business environment
