Associate Applications Developer is an entry-level Enterprise Java developer with meticulous attention to detail, and a propensity for creative problem solving. Applicants should be well versed in Object Oriented design and development, and have a passion for learning. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: o Analyze and review functional specifications o Develop code to specifications, based on standard development and documentation standards o Track and resolve functional defects of varying sizes and severity o Participate in structured team code reviews o Excellent time management and willingness to accept and act on input from senior team members MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: o BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience/certifications and documented OJT o 3+ years Java development, database modeling, stored procedures, jobs, complex queries and modifications. o Working knowledge of Object Oriented programming methodology and knowledge of current industry standard design patterns. o Basic database scripting and programming skills in developing stored procedures, triggers, automation, etc. o Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: o Experience with agile methodologies and Jira o Working knowledge and/or hands-on experience with Java, Oracle/SQL Server, Integration Services, and Reporting Services. o Development experience in ATG/Oracle Commerce framework o Experience working with high-volume websites, preferably e-commerce related and/or a multi-channel/multi-brand environment. o CRM/ATG experience o Experience leading development teams in architecture, design, and task delegation
