Mobile Apps Software Engineer - iOS

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Client is known for its innovative design, development and distribution of comprehensive digital hearing systems.

The Mobile Software Development -iOS team is building mobile applications for consumers and professionals for improving hearing, and improving lives with leveraging sensor information from our mobile apps. Our work is typically done using the agile methodology. We work with a number of technologies: (iOS, Android, C#/.NET, & Cloud). We also have apps in both the App Store and Google Play.

We are looking to expand our team, with someone who is a self-starter and is passionate about delivering excellent mobile applications. Someone with high-energy and a motivation to work on either the iOS or Android platform.

You Will Be Doing

• Building native mobile apps leveraging cross platform technologies
  
• Utilizing Swift, Kotlin, C#/.NET & Cloud platforms
  
• Iterating on design and functionality with our Product Managers and designers
  
• Working closely with a team of mobile developers, testers, product managers
  
• Able to jointly and independently make decisions, define required changes, and communicate modifications to the entire project team
  
• Pro-actively consult industry best practices in mobile software design
  
• Use BLE wireless communications
  
• Leveraging sensors in hardware

You Will Need

Education: BS/MS Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience

• Understanding of software design, development, and testing
  
• Willingness and ability to learn and apply new technologies
  
• Work effectively in a team environment
  
• Programming experience in either of the following:
  
• Swift / Java / Kotlin
  
• C#/.NET experience
  
• 1+ years of mobile app development experience

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Firebase or reactive programming (RxJava or RxSwift)
  
• Knowledge of Mobile Platform Architectures
  
• Experience with App Store submission and review process
  
• A published app in the App Store or Google Play
  
• 2+ years of mobile app development experience
