Senior Software Engineer
Taylor, MI
Duration:6 months
Responsibilities:
- Define, design, develop, and deploy applications, services, and proof of concepts to support new Mobility Connected Vehicles products and features
- Ensure quality, on-time delivery using agile, test driven development principles
- Collaborate with a balanced team of developers to deliver projects/features
- Span multiple environments (Vehicle, Cloud, Mobile) to support end-to-end feature delivery
- Java/.Net development experience
- Experience with Cloud environments (Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
- Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management, Test Management, CI/CD, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working independently as well as on a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills & Experience Preferred:
- Automotive software delivery experience highly preferred
- Open Source software experience and contributions
- Familiarity with other common programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python)
- Experience with iOS/Android/PWA Development
- Development experience in multiple programming environments (Mobile, Vehicle Cloud, Embedded)
Education Required: BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
