Develop collaborative partnerships across internal andexternal technical support teams to maintain and improve the integrity of theCitrix and VMware server infrastructure.
·Broad understanding of health care business lines and applications preferred(EPIC). - preferred
·Demonstrated clear and concise verbal and written communication skills atlevels appropriate for the intended audience in a professional manner
·Work in collaboration with the project management office to createcomprehensive statements of work and detailed project plans involving Citrixand VMware technologies.
·Assist Infrastructure Manager in evaluating Citrix and VMware technologysolutions that will improve the delivery of EPIC and other business criticalapplications.
·Minimum of 8 years advanced technical knowledge and experience in management oflarge Citrix and VMware environments:
·Installation and configuration of Citrix and VMware server farms
·Extensive experience with XenApp, XenDesktop, and VMware
·Installation and configuration of applications on Citrix presentation servers
·Extensive experience with VMware virtualization techniques
·Configuration of Citrix load balancers and Resource Manager
·Configuration and management of Citrix user policies
·Configuration and management of Citrix print services
·Citrix onsite and offsite disaster recovery planning and support
·Experience with Citrix monitoring and capacity planning tools
·Installation and configuration of VMware ESX
·Experience with EMC/NetApp SAN infrastructure
