Required Qualifications:
•Overall 6 to 8 years’ experience in IT
•3 to 4 years’ experience using HORTONWORKS data platform administration.
•Performance Tuning of Hadoop
•Experience with Configuration & Tuning of HBase Clusters
•Extensive knowledge of Hortonworks ecosystem of tools and hands on experience is must.
•Handled large Hadoop clusters in organizations.
•Responsible for Cluster maintenance, Upgrade, Patch release, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Manage and review data backups, Manage & review log files
•Good troubleshooting skills
•Very good understanding of Partitions, bucketing concepts in Hive and designed both Managed and External tables in Hive for optimized performance
•Develop scripts and batch job to schedule a bundle (group of coordinators), which consists of various Hadoop programs using Oozie.
•Configured MySQL Database to store Hive metadata.
•Works with ETL workflow, analysis of big data and loaded them into Hadoop cluster
•Experienced on adding/installation of new components and removal of them through Ambari.
•Monitored workload, job performance and capacity planning
•Experience with EMC Isilon preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
•Certified in Hortonworks Admin
•Experience working on other Hadoop Platform
•Experience on ETL tool Infoworks
•Experience with R, Python, Scala
•Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence advanced analytics
•Healthcare Domain knowledge
