Position: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 12+ Months with Possible extension
Specific Skill: Java, Core Java and Spring Batch
Years of Exp: 10 to 11 Years
Required Qualifications
- Experience coaching and directing others in test automation programming, debugging, analyzing and solving program and system issues
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or 6 years of industry equivalent experience
- Experience testing complex features
- Experience in setting up reporting processes that communicate success and failures of test automation
- Ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent coding skills in one or more scripting languages. Preferably Ruby, Python, or JVM-centric language
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) processes
- Experience with Cucumber methodology
- Experience in continuous integration practices
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with AWS
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in a timely manner in both verbal and written communication with other Software Development Engineers
