Role:Substation Electrical Engineer

Location: Denver, CO

• Candidate Will Have:Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent requiredPE License strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain within 1 year required4+ years of engineering experienceProficient with substation protection and control design and industry standardsCapable of reviewing and producing design drawings, including one-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel elevations .
• Ability to perform AC & DC substation studiesCapable of substation SCADA, communications, and network engineering a plusKnowledge of substation electrical physical (apparatus) equipment a plusExperience with commissioning and/or field engineering time a plusKnowledge of basic relay settings a plusKnowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) a plus.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)Ability to work in a high-paced team environmentMust have permanent authorization to work in the USWhy work for company .
