Job Responsibilities :
Manages operating engineers, electricians, security, and janitorial staffs for the operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, life safety and security of a remote warehouse facility, a training center and the 600K+ sf corp HQ building complex including a 17K sf data center, HVAC, generator & UPS plants, high voltage power systems, commercial kitchen and nine (9) elevators.
Maintain a good inventory of critical parts;Manages a computerized work order request process;Plans, executes and closes out large and small building projects including the selection of contractors, and vendors to procure goods and services;Interviews and selects associates for employment;Conducts associate performance appraisals;Process invoices for payment; develops policies and procedures of governing essential operational protocol.The Building ScopeThe building scope:600,000 SF building complexBackup Generator Power SystemUPS PlantData Center and Telephone CenterHVAC PlantBuilding air conditioning systemHeating plant e.g. boilers and heat pumpsCommercial kitchenHigh voltage power systemsNine elevators
