  Java/Scala/Python developer – comfortable writing scala using the IntelliJ IDE.

  Experience deploying code to Apache Spark running in the Cloud (Azure HDInsight).

  Experience using Apache NLP and MLlib service libraries to extend Scala code capabilities              making use of language syntax and pattern matching & ML techniques.

  Note the role requires someone who is:

  Able to work in a high pressure agile environment with day-to-day “show and tell” deliverables.

  Applies and writes their code in an object-oriented rather than procedural manner – enabling code deployments to serve as re-usable services.
