DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description:

This Project Manager will be an integral member of the Application Service Delivery group and will represent the group in IT projects impacting applications.

Job Responsibilities:

- Defines/develops roll out plans and oversees execution according to best practices.
- Capable of managing vendors and contractors to ensure alignment and execution.
- Comes up with solution options to project issues/challenges (w/o waiting on direction) and always puts forward a recommendation with clear supporting business justification
- Manages budgets in terms of estimating forecasts, tracking actuals, reporting discrepancies and making adjustments accordingly
- Understands the technologies used for solution and is able to discuss technical solution at a high level.
- Maintains transparent visibility of project status, issues, direction, decisions, etc., establishing themselves as a trusted adviser to the business
- Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business partners and internal team members.
- Facilitates meetings with all levels of the company, clearly articulating objectives, keeping people focused and walking out with identified action items and next steps.
- Communicates technical issues to non-technical people.
- Negotiates and resolves conflicts wherever necessary.
- Maintains a positive outlook with an optimistic and professional attitude at all times
- Keeps management, team members and business stakeholders informed of critical issues, project status, changes, etc. on a consistent basis

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree in an IT related curriculum
- 4-6 years of IT Industry Experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to work outside of your comfort zone
- Ability/desire to learn and use new development tools and new infrastructure technologies.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
- Ability to adapt communication according to the audience
- Ability to effectively work in a global team.
- Manage and function well under tight time frames
- Manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Prepared and capable to challenge constructively and at the correct time
- Consider the bigger picture and future direction of the organization while designing solutions and managing change
- Flexible and willing to travel if necessary
