Job Description:

Our stable client in the North West Valley is looking for an Oracle DBA to join their team!

This Oracle DBA will be responsible for:

Providing the planning, coordination, utilization and administration of Oracle relational databases.
Ensuring the appropriate definition, organization, security, documentation and integrity of the RDBMS.

The Sr. DBA must act as the steward over the structure and contents of critical platinum databases.
They will also be responsible for creating and enforcing rules, standards and policies as well as implementing highly complex projects.

Skills/Requirements :

Must possess (8+) years of hands on Oracle Database Administration experience.

Unix/Linux/Windows; Unix/Linux scripting a plus.
Excellent knowledge of physical database design.
Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance monitoring.
Excellent knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.
Excellent knowledge of Oracle security management.
Excellent knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience and knowledge in migrating code into the database


RDBMS/OS: Oracle: 9i, 10g, 11g; (SQL Server a Plus); Linux/Unix, Windows

Applications/Tools: Experience with the following will be considered a plus:
