Job Summary:  Position is responsible for working in a team as a developer for field order entry and inventory management systems. Position will troubleshoot, design, code, document technical solutions. and provide technical 3rd level support for in-house code.



Essential Duties:



  • Analyzes end users data needs and develops user orientated solutions which interface with new or existing business programs.

  • Reviews the designs of other analysts and developers and helps determine design and development standards

  • Using various programming languages and tools to work on small to medium complexity projects related to mobile devices.

  • Responsible for leading efforts in identifying root cause for production issues escalated from 2nd level technical support.

  • Coordinate efforts with business users responsible for user testing.

  • Creates written deployment plans for program promotions.

  • Responsible for maintaining and creating technical documentation of all programs developed and modified.

  • Assist other Programmer/Analysts in trouble shooting programming problems.

  • Performs related duties as required.




Job Specifications:  Requires the ability to manage multiple software development requests  into test and production releases while meeting deadlines and assisting with 3rd level help desk issues.



Skills And Abilities:



  • Experience with XCode for iPhone and iPad application development.

  • Experience with Sybase Unwired Platform.

  • Experience with working with Mobile Device Management solutions such as Maas360 or MobileIron.

  • Ability to manage several projects at once and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to analyze and understand the business functions in order to deliver a technical solution.

  • Experience developing and interfacing with a Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate requirements, technical information, and solutions to local and foreign teams, both technical and non-technical.

  • Ability to work independently doing research, troubleshooting and analysis with little direction.

  • Ability to learn and become proficient in new systems.



Knowledge and skills identified are typically acquired by completing a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science/Information Technology or related field and/or may be acquired by working in related areas. (normally 3-6 years of experience) Knowledge of Microsoft products, demonstrated knowledge of XCode development, iPad/iPhone development, SQL, C++, and XML is required.  Experience with Java, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, C#, or interfacing to ERP systems is a plus.



Working Climate:  Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of objects and materials of weight up to 10 pounds.
