Hiring Managers Comments:::: The Ideal candidate would have retail energy sales experience in the territory. I would expect our hire to have contacts with schools, large commercial, hospitals and so on. Furthermore a candidate that has experience with Energy Efficiency and distributed generation would be a plus. Job description Client\'s Business Development Manager will be responsible for the commodity (electricity and natural gas), renewable energy, and energy efficiency origination sales to medium and large commercial, industrial, or public sector customers. (Note: Travel requirements up to 40% and may consist of consecutive days/night and must have the ability to work in Pittsburgh, PA, region.) Tasks & Responsibilities: â?¢ Identify prospects and develops contacts with high-level decision makers in current and potential customer organizations. â?¢ Cultivate on-going, positive customer relationships with present and prospective commercial and public sector customers. â?¢ Develop energy plans, and strategies for clients prepare and gives sales presentations and close sales transactions according to company policies. â?¢ Establish and maintain an understanding of each customerâ??s business objectives and price risk tolerances.
