Job description Designs and implements computer-based enterprise business solutions for commercial functions as part of the Information Services (IS) Commercial Systems team. Works in close collaboration with team members, end users and other IS departments to meet the company\'s goals, with minimal supervision. Primary focus will be project work, but will also be involved in supporting existing ERP and other business related applications. The initial project the employee will assist with is the implementation of a new contract capture and management system with robust confirmation, pricing and workflow capabilities. The new contract system will replace multiple pricing point solutions and integrate seamlessly forecasting, risk management and billing solutions. Enhanced reporting will also be delivered to support the new revenue accounting standard that is scheduled to be adopted on January 1, 2018. Primary focus is to work on the design and implementation of components/deliverables of commercial small projects, enhancements and initiatives as a lead or individual contributor. Performs business analysis on and recommends quality complex solutions for business processes. Works on moderately complex tasks for the deployment of new solutions and enhancements/fixes to existing solutions. This includes, but is not limited to: trouble-shooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, user interaction, training, defining systems scope, gathering requirements, documenting design & functional specifications, research and fact-finding, configuration, testing, reporting, cutover, IS and business user coordination. Demonstrates an ability to rapidly learn new business processes and assess gaps between those processes and business initiatives. Also displays an ability to retain process knowledge and apply towards understanding integration impact with existing and new processes. Develops effective work relationships at various job levels with business users, IS departments and business partners. Develops and maintains test plans for systems as required. Coordinate testing and document results. Completes unit testing system changes before production loads. Assists in the evaluation and selection of the best solution from many possible alternatives, to handle various business needs as they arise. Assists in the coordination of the adoption of new business procedures resulting from system improvements, through the development of documentation, training, and communication plans. Understands and applies the various IT methodologies which include project management, development, service management and system architecture. Develops effective work relationships within departmental and functional lines at various job levels with business users, IS departments and business partners. Helps coordinate the adoption of new business procedures resulting from system/application changes, including the development of system specifications, documentation, training, and communication plans. May be required to work off-hours and on weekends for projects and/or support. Some travel may be required. Job Information Services Primary Location: US-TX-San Antonio Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. Minimum of eight (8) years of business or technical experience utilizing SAP SD module required. Experience with implementing the following SAP Sales & Distribution functions required: Contracts Sales Order Processing Pricing Logistics Execution Billing Account Determination Output Experience designing custom solutions within the ECC landscape as well as solutions involving complex integration with external systems and/or business partners required. Ability to debug ABAP preferred. Refinery industry or related business/IT knowledge with SAP ERP system preferred. Experience with SAPâ??s IS-Oil module: Formula & Average Pricing (F&A), Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM), Exchanges, Traders & Schedulers Workbench (TSW) preferred. Experience with SAP Commodity Pricing preferred. Experience with SAP Materials Management module preferred. Experience integrating external contract management systems with SAP ECC preferred. Ability to provide occasional after-hours support on a rotating basis or as needed required.
