Account Manager - Telesales and Representatives Experience Required: 0-5 years Job Portal / IT consulting or staffing experience strongly preferred Key Requirements: â?¢ Excellent communication skills â?¢ Patience, persistence and persuasiveness â?¢ Excellent typing skills Responsibilities: â?¢ Meeting aggressive quotas including sales volumes and number of calls per day â?¢ Generating and qualifying leads from cold calling â?¢ Managing, tracking and following up on leads by calling them â?¢ Conducting sales presentations through the phone and screen sharing â?¢ Meeting monthly and quarterly sales goals in accordance with goals â?¢ Creating and updating activity reports â?¢ Working to engage the customer and ask questions that keep the conversation going â?¢ Building relationships with existing clients by taking feedback calls and understanding improvements Summary: Telesales representatives must have excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice and a friendly rapport with customers. While they may work from a script, telesales reps must also have the ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers. They must represent the company in a positive sense at all times; this calls for optimistic people who are extroverts, client facing and who naturally like working with others. Sales representatives must be persuasive and highly motivated to make sales. Since it is often necessary to establish a relationship with a client before a successful sale, they must also be patient and persistent. Telesales representatives are often required to input sales data into a computer while on the telephone with a customer, so keyboard skills are required.
