Description:
Enterprise architect leading a development team in Chicago. application is developed on Microsoft .NET platform and uses SQL Server at a back-end.Components include Windows Forms apps, ASP.NET web sites, Windows Services and scheduled tasks. The application is a mission-critical laboratory information management system (LIMS) used to run large medical lab. The architect will be responsible for overall deliverable.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in software development
Experience with mission-critical applications is a must
Recent hands on experience with .NET development
Solid understanding of enterprise application architecture
Practical understanding of IT infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of .NET and C#, ASP.NET and Windows Forms
Deep practical knowledge of MS SQL Server
Good understanding of RDBMSes and database design
Experience leading development teams of up to 20 people
Project management experience
Experience with and solid understanding of agile methodologies
Experience with WCF is a plus
Experience with medical field and LIMS applications is a plus
Experience with high-throughput OLTP applications is preferred
Experience with development/systems outside of Windows/.NET platform is a plus (Linux, Oracle, NoSQL etc)
