Job Description:

The Synon Developer is proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned, and is expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensure that quality standards are met. 

Responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned.

Ensure and adhere to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames. 

Share expertise throughout organization educating through formal or informal means.

 

Required Qualifications:

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems , IT, or closely related technical field and 2 years of experience in application development, including 2 years of experience with designing, programming, & testing with Synon, RPG, & AS/400; and with delivering application changes. 

Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.
