Assist team with problem tickets associated with SQL administration type tasks, access, permissions, connectivity and/or other user errors working with end users directly via phone / resolving issues in a timely fashion.   Review SQL backups and failures.  Investigate backup issues and/or backup reporting.   Coverage after hours and/or weekend on occasion for scheduled or planned events, i.e., upgrades, go-live events, etc.  Time will be given back during the work week to remain at 40 hrs when after-hours or weekend coverage is provided.  The team shares these coverage windows, usually a coverage shift is about 4 hours or less.

This would be an on-site,Monday – Friday, engagement for the next 6 months (960 hrs) at PartnersHealthCare located in Somerville, Massachusetts.  They are looking for a strongSQL DBA operations resource to assist the team with day to day operationaltasks.  For example, taking on several incoming problem ticketsdaily that are assigned to their group for troubleshooting, someone who is goodat taking direction from team leads & resolution and/or working on SQLbackup failure troubleshooting & reporting, etc.  There is alsoa requirement for some after-hours and/or weekend support coverage duringscheduled planned changes and/or go-live events.  When after-hours orweekend work is scheduled, the Partners HealthCare team will allocate time backduring the following week to align to a 40 hour a week model
