Job Description

  • This person will support the Global FP&A function with analytics and reporting.
  • Additionally the position will perform controlling and reporting in compliance with US-GAAP and other internal guidelines.
  • This position will report to the Director of Finance, Global Tipper Tie.
  • The position will also work closely with the Director of Finance Control and the US Plant Controller.
  • Business analytics to support forecasting, KPI reporting and business decision making
  • Quarterly forecasting and annual business planning or budgeting processes
  • Month-end closing and reporting through journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis
  • Internal, external and SOX audit requests and remediation of audit findings
  • Upload of multiple entities financials and supporting schedules into financial reporting systems (Longview/Khalix & Oracle/Hyperion) and reconciling between systems
  • Quarterly and year-end tax calculation estimates and reporting
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Reviews
  • Project financial analysis and controlling
  • Sales reporting and analytics including bookings (Inbound) and backlog
  • RMA and customer credit analysis and processing
  • Intercompany reconciliation and reporting
  • Oversight for AR Management and credit & collections
  • Account analysis and transaction research as needed
  • Analysis related to roll out of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
  • Special projects related to the financial integration of Tipper Tie into post acquisition working with functions such as Tax, Treasury, Shared Service, etc. (Integration projects include bank, travel program, shared service)

Education / Studies

  • BS/BA in a related discipline and have 5+ years previous experience in Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Accounting

Professional Experience

  • Background & experience with Financial Consolidation systems (preferably Hyperion/HFM and/or Khalix)
  • Outstanding data and information management skills. Ability to understand detailed data analysis and provide recommendations to stakeholders
  • Highly organized with ability to self-manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid business acumen and ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management within the Business Unit
  • Proven capabilities in driving standardization of financial/accounting processes and continuous process and performance improvement
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with US-GAAP
  • Experience working in cross functional teams

  • Requires a flexible work schedule (weekend or evening work may be required particularly during month end closing process).
  • Majority of time is spent in a normal office environment located possibly on the upper level of the facility.
  • May require sitting for long periods of time.
  • Requires light lifting such as boxes of printer paper.
  • Must be able to operate standard equipment, including a personal computer, facsimile, and telephone.
  • Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements while in the manufacturing area, including use of safety shoes, glasses and hearing protection as required.
