Seeking very experienced senior SYSPROG to lead z/OS upgrade from v2.1 to v2.x and hardware upgrade from zBC12 to next generation machine. Duties include hands on administration, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of mainframe System z and related infrastructure components. At least seven (7) years of experience and specific advanced z/OS generalist knowledge, WLM, SMP/E, TSO, JES2, DFHSM/SMS, DASD (Hitachi VSP), IBM VTL TS7720 as well as the ability to interact with third-party sub-systems such as ACF2, MIM, and CA-Common Services.

· Skills in other areas such as System Automation, ACF2 security, MXG, SMF record extraction and analysis, process automation (REXX), CA product support to facilitate data transfers are all pluses.
Specific proficient knowledge and experience of advanced virtual tape (IBM VTL TS7720), storage (Hitachi VSP), data replication, automated operations and how to interact with them is highly desirable.
