Positio: Lab Support Engineer

Location:  Redmond, WA

Job Description:

1.       Create, update andmaintain a test case repository, in-house inventory, automation status, testresult repository for different MOs/cycles and release.

2.       Perform test casesExecution in accordance with standards and specifications.

3.       Perform Simulatorupgrade, sanity, support calibration and maintenance.

4.       Support simulator issueduring test execution and ensure quick uptime

5.       Provide specifictechnical support for test cases based on 3GPP, 3GPP2, CCF and PTCRB/GCF testcases, as well as specific test scenarios created by operators like AT&T,T-Mobile and Verizon.

6.       Work with the test teamsto meet lab compliances and ensure for successful Audit.

7.       Responsible forgathering HW utilization data and able to suggest for data driven decision forcost effective infrastructure investment

8.       Improve operationefficiency through automation on test scheduler, result reporting etc

9.       Responsible formaintaining lab schedules and allocation.

10.   Perform periodic inventory audits.

 

Skills and Qualifications Required:

 

1.       Graduate inElectronics/Electrical/Telecommunication/ComputerScience/InformationTechnology.

2.       Experience with wirelesstechnologies and standards such as GSM/WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+/LTE/CDMA2000/1x/EVDOand Customer specific test requirements.

3.       Use of test andmeasuring equipment Call Boxes, Network emulators, etc. and Test Procedures.

4.       Understanding ofvalidation services for test equipment manufacturers and performance/protocoltest systems (R&S CMW500, Spirent 8100, Anite 9000, Anritsu RTD)

5.       Experience on NorthAmerican carrier requirements especially Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T.Knowledge on Lab entry processes is a must.

6.       Experience of Modem/OSlevel debugging on different chipset vendor.

7.       Previous experience ofautomation using Python or C#/.Net is a plus

8.       Should have Strongknowledge on operation and requirements of Operator certification labs.

9.       Excellent verbal andwritten communication skill

10.   Excellent in negotiating skills.
