Description:
The purpose of this position is to support Analysis, Budgets, Reporting, and Special Projects at our corporate office. The position is located in Tennessee.
Duties:
- Coordinates the consolidation of financial forecasts for the company
- Coordinates the consolidation of the annual budget
- Prepares forecasts and budgets for corporate and central commercial departments and also other business units as assigned.
- Prepares as distributes various reports on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule including, Daily Buy Report, Regional Buy/Sell Analysis, Board of Directors reporting package, and other ad hoc reporting as required.
- Review financial results and prepares written analysis and commentaries for management as requested.
- Participate on business financial and operational project teams as assigned.
- Assist corporate accounting group and accounting service center, as necessary, during the month--end accounting close
- Support quarter-end reporting.
Qualifications:
- BA in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting /analysis experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.
- Self Starter, able to work with limited supervision.
- Experience with Business Objects or another data warehouse environment.
