Job Description

  • An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Senior Financial Analyst at in Parsippany, New Jersey.
  • This Senior Financial Analyst role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase leadership potential, financial skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • The role will report to the Senior Director FP&A and work directly with the Chemical Intermediates finance Segment Leader as well as business team, to attain financial and operational results.
  • This role will also be responsible for companywide Freight & Distribution reporting and support number of functions including Supply Chain and IT.
  • The role provides a great opportunity to expand business acumen and learn about Chemical Intermediates business and product lines.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the AOP, Strategic Plan and forecasting processes working with the Chemical Intermediates segment finance leader and FP&A group
  • Providing monthly financial reporting packages which include analysis of revenue/margin at the total business and customer levels. This will include standard weekly, monthly reports and analysis as well as continued updates in forecasted performance.
  • Manage Freight & Distribution reporting and analysis.
  • Coordinating and leading functional cost reviews and analysis for overall Supply Chain, IT, Legal/HSE functions
  • Partnering with the FP&A team and Site Controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting and to communicate changes in the business that will affect site.
  • Recommending and implementing changes to business processes impacting wide reporting
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis based upon changing business needs.
  • Providing training aimed at improving financial acumen within the business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor??s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business related discipline
  • Minimum 4+ years?? experience in an accounting and/or finance role

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and business processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and advanced knowledge and utilization of Excel, SAP, HFM, and Host Analytics
