Job Description:
- Collaborate with Leads within the AM Chief Data Office to gather requirements and ensure their successful delivery through technology solutions
- Lead the overall technical solutioning for Data Governance initiatives, interacting across departments (business, operations, and IT) to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Establish & manage a team of skilled engineers & business analysts in multiple locations to execute Data Governance strategy Based on Governance requirements, manage the development of custom capabilities & workflows within the AM strategic Data Governance Solution Collibra, overseeing overall functional design, development, and testing
- Enable complex integrations between Collibra and various data sources/ systems throughout the division, ensuring Collibra is a central Governing mechanism and integrated meta-data management solution
- Assist in managing vendor relationships from contract negotiations to release management, to manage cost and operational risk
- Collaborate with relevant shared services functions such as Infrastructure Services, Global Production Services, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Information Security etc. to ensure timely completion of the planned book of work
- Ensure security, scalability and business continuity of the data infrastructureYour team Youâ??ll be working in the Data Governance IT team in Weekhawken, NJ & New York City.
- This team already consists of a lead developer & business analyst, who have developed an extensive amount of custom workflows & governance functionality within Collibra.
- The team works in an agile/scrum format and is eager to have you join and extend the approach.
- 8+ years of diverse experience in designing and managing innovative solutions in Asset Management or Financial services domain
- 5+ years of experience in managing global teams
- VERY strong Java/ J2EE and web service integration skills.
- Knowledge of Groovy Scripting and Activiti BPMN 2.0 engine is nice to have.
- Experience with Collabra implementation, configuration, APIs ,Connect etc
- ??Experience with enterprise integration solution such as MuleSoft, JBoss, Spring etc
- ??Hands-on experience with Web/Application development (HTML, CSS, APIs â?? REST, JSON) and BPMN workflow developmentStrong experience with RDBMS like Oracle SQL, MS SQL, and My SQL
- Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Profiling
- Knowledge of Data management standards and data governance practices
- Proven experience in Agile Development methodology
- ??Good knowledge of Asset Management data and business processes
