Position Summary

  • Is seeking a Sr. Benefits Analyst to join a dynamic and growing team.

Position Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and strategy for practice-wide, multi-site employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, COBRA, FSA, HSA and retirement plans, including preparation for annual open enrollment.
  • Manage the Benefits Administration system ensuring accuracy through data testing and vendor management. Lead implementation of file feeds with insurance carriers and vendors
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for benefit administration.
  • Assists in evaluating and modifying policies and programs to ensure programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with internal- and external-legal requirements.
  • Support the annual benefits open enrollment process, including working with vendors/brokers consultants to managing employee communications, presenting benefits plans to all employees, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing recommendations.
  • Provide recommendations on current and potential benefit programs to make the benefits program more competitive.
  • Is the subject matter expert & primary point of contact for benefit programs & trouble shooting claim issues
  • Ensure vendors are administering programs accurately and adhering to contractual obligations, especially as it pertains to expected service and quality levels.
  • Verify that all new enrollees have been added, all terminated employees are removed, and changes in coverage are reflected timely communicate with Payroll and Accounts Payable accordingly.
  • Assist with other HR programs, duties, and projects.
  • Ensure appropriate customer service levels are maintained.
