Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

  • Write requirements and functional specifications
  • Conduct the design up to the final solution in accordance with current policies and processes
  • Act as an Epic Owner
  • Support the operations at the solution definition level
  • Act as a consultant for the departments
  • Manage the improvement and change requests
  • Participate in weekly research and development projects review meetings
  • Keep up-to-date the roadmap
  • Optimize cross-platform improvements
  • Estimate and keep up-to-date the implementation costs of developments
  • Manage versions and compatibility of the various components
  • Ensure the validation of the project stages by reviewing the technical quality of the deliverables
  • Keep up-to-date the tracking tools
  • Improve the tools used by the department
  • Enhancement Requests and Evolution with the Market
  • Keep up-to-date, quantify and prioritize a list of improvements to platforms
  • Align the short-term developments of projects versus long-term market developments
  • Transform the various requirements of Solution Designers into a clear development request and make sure that an evaluation for their implementation is quickly made available
  • Provide technical support for Product Line Managers for the competition and market analysis
  • Establish strategies to eliminate or mitigate risks
  • Maintain contact with existing and potential partners to define and develop required functionalities
  • Suggest or authorize change requests
  • New Products Marketing and Support
  • Manage the introduction of new products with the internal project management department
  • Participate in discussions with the Architectural or Designers groups for the features
  • Support the launching activities of a local or on the road product
  • Manage the implementation of tools or processes enabling different departments to manage new products
  • Conduct or supervise the technical writing of supporting documents
  • Conduct or supervise the production of training material
  • Support Technical Experts and departments during problem solving
  • In-house Product Support
  • Assist with presentations and demonstrations to customers and/or partners in collaboration with the Sales team
  • Provide training and support to the sales force
  • Conduct engineering visits as part of a complex project
  • Support the various internal resources (Product Line Manager, Solution Designers, etc.) for the managed platform by maintaining a continuous improvement direction
  • Performs various follow-ups on opportunity analysis requests from the Sales team or Product Line Manager
  • Support the creation and improvement of our marketing documents

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor??s degree in a relevant technical discipline, or
  • College diploma in a relevant technical discipline with compensatory experience
  • Technical experience in a similar field
