  • Developing, overseeing and executing initiatives to increase paid search traffic and revenue.
  • Responsible for managing paid search campaigns around products. This person will directly manage accounts, placements, ads and bidding under the direction of the team manager. He/she will also work with the product, creative, business intelligence and analytics teams to ideate, launch and track testing to optimize the funnel from impression through conversion, while contributing to the overall direction and monetization of the assigned vertical markets.
  • Full funnel search marketing: strategy, ads, bids, landing pages, & reporting.
  • Ownership of the structure, tactical direction, optimization, spend, and P&L of specific campaigns in the online lead aggregation space.
  • Analyze and use data to make informed decisions on bids, ad copy, and landing page performance.
  • Clean up data from disparate sources and generate valuable insights.
  • Run reporting and communication of results/ideas within the marketing and product teams.
  • Ideate, develop, and implement strategies to automate repetitive tasks and reporting.
  • Working closely with design and product/tech teams to streamline and optimize the consumer experience and conversion funnels for specific products and sites to be marketed.
  • Research and communication of the competitive landscape for specific products to be marketed, including: landing page and conversion funnel paths, as well as insight into competitorsâ?? impact on our volume, cost and performance in the paid search space.
  • Daily management of bids, spend and ROI.
  • Ongoing testing and optimization of visitor experiences, including ad messaging, landing pages, while working closely with the design, product and analytics teams.
  • Ongoing account optimization, including structure & targeting improvements (geo, demographic, audiences, day-parting, keyword and URL), search query mining, keyword expansion, negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes.
  • Meet all ongoing reporting requirements as needed to keep general managers and peers informed as appropriate.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure appropriate support, and to keep abreast of product releases and new available features.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, prepare reports on findings, and share the results with others.

Bachelora??s degree.

  • 3-5 years of experience executing and optimizing direct response campaigns with a proven ability to maximize profit.
  • Knowledge of running paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing preferred. But if you have comparable experience in other channels or your analytical marketing IQ is off the charts that works too.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Strong SQL programming skills are required

  • Experience with data wrangling and analysis in R/Rstudio or Python is required (e.g. with dplyr or pandas)
  • Machine learning knowledge a big plus (e.g. LASSO Regression, Random Forests, GBM, ARIMA, Data Clustering).
  • Experience with APIs a plus.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Leverage data to make intelligent, actionable business decisions.
