Job description

  • Payroll, Benefits & Equity Coordinator will assist Finance in processing payroll changes and managing incoming questions from team members in regards to Benefits Administration, and assist with the Equity Compensation.
Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support and assistance including data entry, filing, mailings, and other duties as assigned.Assist in processing and monitoring all Wage Garnishments orders.
  • Answers basic team member benefits plan questions including: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, and COBRA coverage.
  • Assist in processing Qualified Medical Child Support OrdersAssist with the coordination of benefits with employees, benefits, and payroll.
  • Serve as a back-up point of contact for changes and enhancements to UltiPro Information System (HRIS) that support payroll functionality and benefit plan administration.
  • Utilize UltiPro system and assist in processing bi-weekly payroll changes including data entry, new hire information, salary adjustments, and employee deductions. Initial point of contact for all payroll matters.
  • Resolves issues and questions relating to timecards, calculation of paid hours, PTO accruals, etc., escalating where appropriate to the Payroll Manager.
  • Works directly with managers, supervisors and leads to ensure critical payroll deadlines are met.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Payroll Manager to review and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with online time and attendance system; review manager payroll submissions, PTO, holidays, etc. for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with final payroll tasks including, 401K administration related task, meal penalty reports, monitoring of on-call policy,
  • Keeps abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws.
  • Assists in preparing reports as requested by managers and leaders across the company, including headcount, turnover, training, and other metric-driven ad hoc reports.
  • Assist with ESPP and equity plan administration including data entry for new employees, new equity award grants, and stock options exercise and restricted stock award release.
  • Coordinates with accounting and transfer Agent as appropriate.
  • Assist with gathering information for related internal and external payroll auditsAssist with other projects and/or duties as assigned and directed.
  • Assist Payroll Manager in document procedures for the Payroll & Benefits Department.
Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in assisting in payroll processing and answering basic benefits questions with a mid-size employer.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with UltiPro software required.
  • Equity Administration experience preferred
  • Benefit administration experience preferred.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook
