Responsibilities

  • Include (but Not Limited To)Manage the day-to-day performance of order fulfillment, returns, transfers, and daily replenishment shipments.
  • Ensure the timely completion of all E-commerce tasks. Most importantly, that all customer orders are shipped, accurately, as soon as possible.
  • Communicate daily about all order issues.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to drive efficiencies, for your team to ensure proper steps in fulfilling a customer order.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed and shipped without damages.
  • The ability able to lead a team of individuals, delegate tasks, and supervise all of the functions that occur in this department.Manage inventory on a daily basis.
  • This includes, consolidating locations, ensuring product is received in correctly and put away in the appropriate area.
  • This maintenance is for inventory accuracy and part of preparation for (two) physical inventories per year.
  • Staff and train all new employees and temp labor for your department.
  • Assign, schedule, and supervise the daily tasks and functions of the E-Commerce Staff.
  • This includes sharing and requesting resources as needed.
  • Provide direction, leadership and motivation to all associates in your department.
  • Maintain supply inventory.
  • Place orders prior to running out.Conduct daily staff meetings to review previous day business issues, customer service emails, and your daily plan.
  • Update your team on all important announcements.
  • Attend manager meetings on a daily and weekly basis.
  • All other duties as required by management.
Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience managing E-commerce fulfillment operations.
  • Communicate effectively, both oral and written.
  • Detail oriented, organized, ability to problem solve quickly, and multi-task.
  • Familiar with general technology such as Microsoft office. OMS system experience preferred.
  • Manage a team of 10+ individuals.
  • Potential to fluctuate to 30+ during busy seasons.Coach, mentor, counsel, and perform management of all E-commerce designated associates.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift 40+lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
  • Flexible schedule around major holidays, including the months of November thru December.
