GENERAL SUMMARY:
Support JD Edwards Enterprise One version 8.11 initiatives by reviewing and understanding new business objectives and system requirements. Work with Process Owners and end users to obtain business requirements based on current and future system needs. Maintain an awareness of all business operations. Promote cross-functional coordination through project planning, management and the building of relationships domestically and internationally. Provide updates for business processes, flow and policies and procedures. Closely work with Information Technology teams and Training teams to accomplish company objectives. Provide Production Support to critical operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
Create business requirements documents based on business needs
Provide Production Support to operations
Test defects, changes and enhancements based on quality assurance best practices
Knowledge of JD Edwards Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Automatic Accounting Instructions, DMAAIs, Address Book/Customer Master/Supplier Master, business unit and branch plant set up and configuration, accounting constants, Purchase Order and Procure to Pay (P2P) modules.
JD Edwards Enterprise One upgrade experience preferable
Ability to use SQL database for analysis and design functional specification of applications
Ability to create complex SQL to inquire and update the data as necessary
Process Commission Engine Runs every other week and do the necessary updates to the data via SQL and SQL stored procedures in order to process the Commission Runs.
Create functional specifications based upon the business requirements
Collaboratively work with other IT members to find the appropriate technical approach for achieving accurate systems business solutions
Work with Project Management to keep project plan updated and current
Coordinate user acceptance testing, including development of test scripts
Involved with training as necessary
Support new country openings by working with the International Department and IT to ensure that requirements are provided, configuration changes are made, testing is performed and documentation is updated
Assist with developing and enforcing standards for the integration system
Maintain process documentation, including key controls and complementary controls
Address and help resolve system issues and business impacts through temporary production support assistance in post-implementation phase
Responsible for getting Process Owner Sign Off’s
Weekend On-Call Support as needed
Perform other duties as assigned and requested
EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE):
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 Years of JD Edwards Enterprise One 8.9 or higher experience
In-depth knowledge in one of more of the following areas:
Sales Order CRM Financials (A/R, A/P, G/L) Supply Chain Purchasing Vertex and related interfaces.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:
Understanding of J.D. Edwards file structures, programs and reports
Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
Project Management skills
Ability to quickly learn new functional areas
Excellent cross-functional teamwork
Demonstrate extraordinary oral, written and listening skills
Key Skills:
