- A software development company located in Temecula, CA is looking for an experienced Java (J2EE) developer who can develop, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise level software applications.
- The java developer will work closely with the Project Manager to create, update and maintain the companies various applications.
- RelationshipsReports to: Project ManagerSupervises: N/AWorks with: Development team / Product Development Team
- External relationships: N/A
- Significant role in all phases of the systems development lifecycle from requirements, design, production.
- Research, code, test, and implement new products.
- Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Queueing system (ie. ActiveMQ, SQS, etc.) experience a plus.
- Experience with AWS a plus.
- Experience with Android programming a plus.
- Proficient with Java 1.5+, J2EE/JEE standards.Bachelors degree in computer science (or related field).
- 2-3 years experience with Bachelors degree or 5-7 years of equivalent experience.
- A strong commitment to coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects in an agile software development environment.
- Ability to participate in group meetings.
