  • This position is client-facing, and will require client communication and some travel. Because of the visible nature of this position to clients, the Business Analyst requires excellent client service skills and a commitment to precision in data analysis and data proofing.
  • The Business Analyst generates client-ready deliverables and can articulate the analytics processes and methodologies utilized.
  • The Business Analyst strives to deliver impactful presentations with the ability to synthesize complex analytical concepts for easy consumption.
  • Demonstrates initiative to bring ideas to life through ideation, proposal, project management and delivery Leads and facilitates campaign response analysis activity, including reporting setup meetings and report production for a variety of clients Accountable for accurate dataset creation and QA from available sources, and for accurate report production against the datasets Acts as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, Data Processing, and IT teams to ensure successful technical fulfillment of business requirements Demonstrates commitment to precision in data analysis and data proofing Develops visually appealing reports, that highlight and support findings (BA only) Develops partnerships with business owners and account managers to ensure overall project success (business drivers, technical capability/functionality, deployment and adoption timelines) Proactively produces reporting and business rule documentation.
  • Provide written documentation and project plans for internal teams to confirm scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Maintain an understanding of program business rules and campaign strategy.
  • Create and present executive overviews, with recommendations for future programs Provides estimates for scope, schedule and resources Monitor program changes that might impact reporting, and raise questions to confirm if changes should be implemented Create targeting models in conjunction with Technology Enablement division team members Assist in managing vendor relationships responsible for administering databases Compiles, prepares and presents campaign results, insights and recommendations to our clients Conducts deep-dive campaign analysis to glean actionable insight and improve program performance (including statistical validity and special analytic studies) Other job responsibilities as deemed suitable by management Qualifications What you should bring to the table: Bachelor degree, preferably in quantitative or analytical discipline such as Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience Proven success in conducting analytics for a variety of measurable media (display, search, mobile, mail or email). Digital experience preferred Proven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strong grasp of descriptive statistics and data visualization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills Available to travel for occasional client meetings Ability to think critically and solve problems Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing business requirements Prior experience in client service positions strongly preferred.
  • Expert in ability to manipulate data using Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools SQL proficiency, including coding and debugging scripts to extract, transform and analyze data sets.
  • Experience with relational DBMS environments and ER diagramming. Experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL, Analysis Services, SSRS, SSIS, Excel Services, SharePoint) preferred Experience with OLAP cubes, RDBMS, and multi-dimensional reporting applications Experience in statistical analysis and data modeling, including experience with a major mathematical or statistical analytics package (SAS, SPSS, R, SSIS, STATA) Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server experience strongly preferred Experience with one or more major web analytics or ad serving tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe (Omniture), Webtrends, Coremetrics, DoubleClick, Atlas)What do we bring to the table?
