  • The IT Project Manager will be responsible for management of key projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and scope.
  • While working as part of the Project Management Office they will be responsible for successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of projects.
  • The IT Project Manager will be expected to acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Lead and manage multiple enterprise-level projects simultaneously through the entire system development life cycle Responsible for the project execution from initiation, planning, development, testing to closing
  • Ensure all projects milestones are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget Assist in the definition and documentation of project scope and S.M.A.R.T objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Utilize project management tools and SDLC methodologies and enforce project standards Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes
  • Develop and own full scale project plans to monitor an track progress
Roles and responsibilities
  • Resolve complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled
  • Plan and schedule timelines and milestones

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately

  • Ensure open communication amongst project team

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management or related discipline with a technical focus
  • Minimum of 8 years direct work experience managing large scale technology projects including all aspects of process development and execution (PMP certification is an added advantage) Program level finance management, planning and schedule development Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional waterfall project management principles and practices
  • Facilitate daily scrums, user stories, sprint planning and sprint reviews Demonstrated success using project management software, such as MS Project and/or Smartsheet Proficiency using various software programs and tools including MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio / SharePoint Solid understanding of ETL process Solid understanding of the full life cycle of the QA process (Functional, Performance, Regression testing, etc.)
  • Must be comfortable, and have prior experience communicating with all levels including Executive leadership
  • Must be able to adapt approach to the context and constraints of each project, knowing that no \"one size\" can fit all the variety of projects
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
  • Organized with a keen attention to detail Capable of working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environments
  • Talent for handling shifting priorities / demands / timelines and effectively executing tasks in a high-pressure environment. It is crucial that candidate be able to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Must be willing and able to reflect the organizational culture and strategy
