Essential Functions of the Position:

  • The following are the essential functions of the position.
  • The following, while comprehensive, is not totally inclusive of all the duties that may be assigned to this role by the Company. The Company reserves the right to change the essential functions of this position at any time.
  • Develop, implement and manage selected HRIS Programs, processes and procedures Support the Ceridian system to include Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, Benefits and all benefit exports including trouble shooting and/or system configurations.
  • Analyze processes and make recommendations for improvement; oversee the specifications; develop and implement new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for module users to ensure efficient business processes and data integrity; provide project oversight to ensure timely completion and effective resolution of identified issues.
  • Oversee technology projects to ensure quality, timeliness and proper use of HRIS information; review and prioritize system maintenance and recommend enhancements to systems and HR operations.
  • Develop, administer, maintain and monitor HRIS access and security requirements.
  • Develop, implement and maintain training modules to support HRIS; develop and maintain training Library of documents.
  • Act as key HRIS knowledge resource for Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll staff, system users, and field users.
  • Prepare reports for employee data contained in HRIS in response to request from users within Human Resources, Finance and Payroll.
  • Support business integration by adding new businesses, users, codes, etc.
  • Coordinate and reconcile changes to configuration or mass changes/updates.
  • Query data that may be requested for auditors or other departments on an ad hoc basis.
  • Gathers and analyzes information from all offices concerning benefits, scheduling, recruitment, new hires, terminations and turnover on a monthly basis Manages HRIS to create personnel reports as needed.
  • Recommends new systems and processes as appropriate Perform EEOC reporting Administer benefits (Health, Dental, 401k, Life, LTD, EAP, FSA, etc.)
  • Backup to Payroll Department Act as the liaison for third party integrations (background checks, cobra administrator, E-verify)

  • Knowledge of HR, Benefits and time & Attendance preferred Knowledge of ADA, FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA and general HR Policies
  • Must be well-organized and with strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and highly motivated with the ability to communicate among all levels of the organization
  • Excellent MS Office skills, Ceridian Dayforce knowledge is highly preferred
Education/Experience:
  • BA/BS degree.5-10 years of experience in HRIS
  • Experience in retail is a plus
