Position Overview
  • The primary purposes of the Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence & Data Science is to support the Corp.
  • Director, Data Science in developing best practices and recommending data-driven strategy related to various business units (i.e. CRM & Loyalty Marketing, Casino Marketing, eCommerce, Revenue Management, etc.)
  • The pursuit of incremental visitation & spend and greater engagement & share of wallet, and lead the development and automation of descriptive and diagnostic reports and dashboards and the productionalization of predictive and prescriptive analytical models for various business units (i.e. CRM & Loyalty Marketing, Casino Marketing, eCommerce, Revenue Management, etc.).
  • All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Advanced Analytical Models -- Support the Corp. Director, Data Science in:Managing the productionalization of advanced analytical models that have been developed by the Data Science team and approved by the properties
  • Monitoring the results of the productionalized advanced analytical models and develop triggers to identify when model performance is under performing against criteria
  • Performing data visualization to explore unhypothesized trends and relationships in the dataBusiness Intelligence Reports & Dashboards -- Support the Corp.
  • Director, Data Science in:Executing the roadmap for metrics that are to tracked and automated with corporate marketing peers and property counterparts
  • Providing access to internal data sources for use by the BI and analytical tools, until IT completes the data warehouse or includes such data in the data warehouse Identifying and providing access to external data sources that enhance reporting and analytics, until IT includes such data in the data warehouse
  • Developing automated, and in some cases real-time, marketing reports and dashboards that help marketers focus on what is important or what are outliers that require action
  • Deriving insight from the analytics and communicate insight narratives to senior leadership and peers Training and coaching property counterparts in the full use of the BI tools to maximize its benefit
  • Marketing Strategy & Financials -- Support the Corp. Director, Data Science in:Helping the properties evolve their direct marketing strategies to achieve maximum response rates at optimal reinvestment rates, and to drive engagement and wallet share across lines of business (gaming, hotel, F&B/retail and entertainment) and in-between trips
  • Developing and executing strategy around cross-market marketing offers to leverage global footprint in driving cross-market visitation and wallet share
  • Monitoring results of marketing campaigns at the campaign & patron level, and develop best practices and improvement action plans
  • Other duties as directed by management Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job Performs other related duties as assigned
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
  • 21 years of ageProof of eligibility to work in the US Undergraduate degree in the field of Computer Science/ Management Information System/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Industrial Engineering or similar field is required
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science/ Management Information System/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Industrial Engineering, or management consulting experience is ideal
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience with producing metrics and analytics that describe what happened and diagnose why such happened; experience with producing such metrics and analytics with time-series data and/or in real-time is ideal
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience with data visualization, reporting & dash boarding tools such as TIBCO Spotfire, SAS BI, Tableau and/or QlikView, and advanced analytic and programming tools such as Python, R, SAS & Matlib
  • Must have experience with deriving insight from the analytics, and crafting and communicating the insight narrative to senior leadership and peers
  • Must have experience applying such insight to business units
  • Experience in applying business automation and predictive analytics in the travel & entertainment industries or eCommerce or marketing is ideal
  • Must manage multiple projects and competing deadlines, and be very detail-oriented and organized
  • Must impact the multiple properties and work across multiple departments, as well as with third parties and guests
  • Must give direction, review the work of others and provide guidance and coaching
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English in oral and written form, and to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
  • Must be willing to travel to and work in Singapore and Macau for extended periods of time Proof of authorization to work in the United States is an E-Verify employer
