ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supply Chain AnalysisExecute weekly reporting to supply chain team and regional management on major business drivers (such as labor costs, case volume moved, purchasing patterns, volume/mix for major product categories and inventory shrink/waste)
  • Improve analysis via understanding the data, data sources, and process workflow, reconfiguring existing reporting to better suit business needs
  • Model regional distribution center plans to minimize inventory holding costs, logistics costs, labor costs while maintain a high standard for product availability and delivery service
  • Work with regional management to analyze and drive down supply chain costs while maintain an acceptable level of customer serviceAnalyze ROI and break even points for capital improvement projects
  • Supply Chain Process Improvement & Key ProjectsManage continuous improvement projects, such as addressing waste due to inventory expiration, over-supply and damages
  • Assist in due diligence and synergy modeling for acquisitions in the pipelineOrganize special projects, such engineered labor standards or warehouse designAssist in administration of large capital projects, such as expenditure review and approvalMay oversee other short duration projects relating to transportation, logistics, purchasing, and related functionsImprove supply chain systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education and/or Experience:5+ years of experience previous distribution; food service experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced skill level a must in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of SQL desired, knowledge of Microsoft Access, Tableau, JDEdwards and AS400 a plusHAACP and other food safety experience strongly preferredBachelors degree from accredited four-year college or university, with business, engineering or other related degree
