Qualifications
- The Senior SAS Engineer must be a CERTIFIED ADVANCED PROGRAMMER and have experience working with and analyzing large (millions of records) data sets, applying mathematical and statistical analysis techniques to real-world data, and programming in Base SAS·
- The Senior SASEngineer must meet one of the following degree-plus-experience criteria: Doctorate plus two (2) years general experience; Master\'s plus five (5) years of general experience; or Bachelor\'s plus seven (7) years of general experience.
- Acceptable degrees include: Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Economics, Management Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics·
- Shall possess an ability to create complex programs in SAS that require multiple steps ingesting, parsing, transforming, and analyzing data·
- The Senior SAS Engineer shall have experience providing support to operational commanders·
- Must be skilled at Arc GIS, SAS Business Intelligence and MS Office.
