RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translate marketing requirements into design wireframes for thermal imaging mobile devices
- Architect, implement, and maintain clean, reusable, robust, and sustainable Java/iOS code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Thoroughly document and maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Interface with marketing, hardware engineering, quality assurance, and production staff to inform and shape development
- Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C, Objective-C, Swift and iOS
- Excellent programming skills and knowledge of Java, Java NDK and Android
- Ability to make decisions, and effectively lead tasks and meet challenging deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with others
- Ability to multi-task in a rapid paced environment
- Familiar with Git and Jira software management tools for version control and issue tracking
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field with at least 5 years professional engineering experience.
- In unique cases, extensive work experience can substitute for BS degree requirements.
