Responsibilities:
- Work with the DWBI staff to port and enhance our existing Pentaho-based ETL pipeline to a new Python based system
- Document the current pipeline as well as the new pipelineAct as support and maintenance for on-going ETL pipeline support issues in Pentaho / Python
- Extend the Python ETL pipeline going forward as Machinima integrates with new data sources (API & file based) and distribution platformsWork closely with the Business Intelligence group to satisfy internal data warehouse needsHelp develop strategies to migrate current and future data warehouse and BI infrastructure to AWS
- ETL experience (3+ years)Python (3-5 years)SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL) (2+ years)Big Data (Redshift/Google BigPySpark/Hadoop, Spark) (1+ years)Linux Server experience.
- AWS/EC2/S3 experience a plus.Pentaho, Tableau, and Microstrategy experience a plus.
- Background in other software development languages (Java, Scala, Ruby) a plus.
- Experience w/ gaming and entertainment business models a plus.
