Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead User Interface Development by configuring, developing and deploying fluid/responsive web sites
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for a team of 5-7 UI Developers across multiple concurrent projects Adopt and evangelize client processes and ensure the internal team strongly supports all best practices
- Flexible in managing team members while also staying hands-on in writing code and managing multiple priorities on both fronts Report to Technology Director regarding performance of team members and successes and challenges in project work Interface directly with clients in planning, assigning, executing and delivering project work
- 5+ years experience in web development in a professional team environment
- 1+ years of team leadership experience Creative portfolio showing design and technical innovation
- Expert knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript Familiarity with popular JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS, Ember, Backbone or others
- Experience working with templating libraries such as Handlebars, Mustache, or Dust Strong command of best practices in building fluid/responsive layouts
- Experience with at least one server-side programming or scripting language a plus
- Familiarity with modern front-end development tools such as SASS, NodeJS, Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, Bower and/or others Knowledge of and experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN and structured deployment practices Firm understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop Excellent problem solving skills
