Role: Full Stack Engineer
Location: San Carlos, CA
Responsibilities:
- Transform our UI designs into awesome looking web pages with HTML/CSS/JavaScript Collaborate with design and development teams to create engaging web experiences
- Establish and enforce a standards and style guide to be used across the product Create prototypes and proofs of concept from brainstorm sessions with designers Build backend code to support the new functionality
- Strong knowledge of Java and some of its popular frameworks - Spring, Hibernate, JPA, JMS.
- Expert level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Solid experience using at least one of the following JS frameworks - JQuery, YUI, Angular, Node, or Backbone.
- Demonstrable experience with OAuth and RESTful APIs Strong RDBMS knowledge and SQL skills.
- We use MySQL.
- Please make sure you know the difference between inner and outer joins as well as how a \'table\' is different from a \'view\'!
- Familiarity with the concept or working knowledge of of NoSQL databases.
- We use MongoDB Experience working in Linux environment RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc. We use MacOS for development and Amazon AWS for QA/Staging/Production
- Familiarity with continuous deployment environment and tools (Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Familiarity with Informatica Familiarity with messaging systems (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, AWS MQ)
- Familiarity with open-source search systems - Solr, ElasticSearch
- Experience with any test automation framework, preferably Selenium/WebDriver.
