EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree is required. Information Technology Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science degree preferred;Minimum of six years of full life-cycle development experience using enterprise-wide requirement definitions, and management systems & methodologies required; UML experience preferred.Proven experience defining rules and workflows for Business Process Management Systems (BPMS), multi-tiered systems, including CMS and working with relational database concepts;Proven HTML experience required;Proven experience with Agile delivery methods is desired.
KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
  • Business Analysis and Data CollectionConduct business analysis through techniques such as:Data gatheringReviewing current system documentation
  • Business process modelingDefining business rules and logicConducting Joint Application Design (JAD) or Scrum sessionsKey analytical troubleshooting;Provide integrated systems analysis within their domain and identify how applications/systems interact to support business processes;Interpret and translate business needs into application and operational requirements;
  • Define precise and accurate User Story acceptance criteria that will be used by developers; testers and by product owners to ensure they can meet sprint deadlines;Record issues identified during testing and make recommendations for scope impact or needed change.
  • DocumentationDevelop Functional Specifications according to standard templates;Map business requirements to Functional Specifications ensuring that all requirements are met;Prepare html and other mockups of proposed screens;Configure systems settings and options to ensure business requirements are fulfilled;Log and update Project Management and Development Request tools to ensure accurate and up to date documentation;Document requirements throughout each stage of the project or initiative to ensure traceability;Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Project ManagementManage project tasks assigned within scope, quality and time frame allocated according to Project Plans and SOWs;Identify and record risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions in accordance to project standards.
  • Agree escalation level with Project Manager and then manage those assigned through to resolution including updating project risks and issues logs associated with requirements and specifications.
  • Collaboration and TeamworkServe, along with the Project Manager, as a conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team to ensure functionality of systems;Coordinate with the groups who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
  • Stay abreast of process and technical changes and their impact on organizational performance and communicate those changes appropriately.
