Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology OR 4 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 4 years of Java development experience
- At least 1-2 years experience with GOSU(3-4 years of experience if GOSU/JAVA combined)
- Experience developing and maintaining GOSU programs for configuring Guidewire Policycenter, Billingcenter, or Claimcenter applications.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java programming, configuring Guidewire Platform (configuration and integration).
- Knowledge of secure software development.
- Extensive experience with Java and Object Oriented development.
- Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.Experience with common programming tools.
- Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels within IT.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written & Oral).
- 4 or more years of development experience.
- Experience with Guidewire development platform.
- Experience with Java Spring framework.
- Knowledge of other related IT areas.
- Demonstrated software repository skills.
- Knowledge or experience in Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
